Corporate Tax Manager/Senior Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Corporate Tax Manager/Senior Manager to play an integral role within our dynamic tax team. This senior role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key client relationships, drive the delivery of complex tax projects, and help to shape the future of our tax practice. You will work closely with partners and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategies that support both client and business growth, while providing guidance and mentorship to team members. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing a diverse portfolio of corporate tax clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory services.
  • Leading and managing complex tax projects, including international tax planning, group restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Managing and mentoring team members, providing technical guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Reviewing and approving corporate tax computations and returns prepared by the team.
  • Staying ahead of changes in tax legislation and sharing insights with clients and the team to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the tax department, including business development initiatives and process improvements.
  • Representing the firm at client meetings, industry events, and in business development activities.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Significant experience in corporate tax, with a proven track record in a managerial role.
  • Strong technical expertise and the ability to provide strategic advice on complex tax matters.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in clients and colleagues.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with a commitment to developing team members.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Professional qualification (e.g., CTA or ACA with relevant tax experience).
  • Proficiency in tax software and a solid understanding of broader financial and accounting principles.
